Ordering and Returns

Can I cancel my order?

Yes—orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. After that, production begins and costs are committed, so we’re unable to offer cancellations or changes.

Because every rug is custom-made to your specifications, we can’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing issues, or design choices.

We recommend:

  • Ordering samples before choosing your fibre
  • Double-checking your measurements before placing an order

Contact us for any advice—we’re here to help you feel confident in your choices

We take this seriously. If your rug arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days and we’ll arrange:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • Or a full refund if neither is possible

We cover return shipping for faulty or damaged items.

Product Care and Maintenance

How do I care for my rug?
  • Vacuum regularly (without a beater bar)
  • Rotate the rug every few months to even out wear
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and damp environments

We recommend anti-slip underlay for rugs on hard flooring. It adds safety, comfort, and extends the life of your rug.

They’re moisture-resistant but not waterproof. Avoid using them in damp areas like bathrooms. Seagrass is the most water-resistant of our fibres, but even then, we advise wiping spills promptly and avoiding long-term exposure.

Product Specifications

What sizes can I order?

Every rug is made to your exact dimensions. We offer full flexibility in:

  • Width and length (to the centimetre)
  • Custom shapes (rectangles, runners, circles, etc.)
  • Stair runners, hallway lengths, and oversized rugs

You can choose from over 150 border options, including:

  • Cotton, linen, leather, suede
  • Narrow, wide, or mitered styles
  • Colour-matched or contrast borders

Sisal is our most durable option—ideal for hallways, stairs, and home offices.
Jute is softer and best for relaxed, barefoot zones like bedrooms.
Seagrass is easy to clean and great for dining areas (currently unavailable, but jute and sisal offer superior performance).

Absolutely. Use our Fibre Guide or message our team for tailored advice. As a general rule:

  • Jute: Soft, warm, barefoot-friendly
  • Sisal: Tough, structured, premium finish
  • Seagrass: Spill-resistant, subtle texture (currently out of stock)

Additional Information

Do Custom Natural Rugs shed?

Natural fibre rugs may shed slightly at first, especially jute. This is normal and settles over time with regular vacuuming. Sisal and seagrass are tightly woven and shed less.

Yes—especially with underlay to prevent slippage or bunching. Rugs over carpet are great for defining zones and adding texture.
